Ati Radeon Hd 4000 Series Drivers Windows 10

I have an old Dell Studio 1558 laptop. I have been running Windows 10 Technical Preview ever since the program kicked-off and everything was running fine. Last week, I received an driver update for ATI Graphics through Windows Update. Post update, the display resolution switched to 1440x900 or something like that. My laptop screen supports 1080 resolution. Digging into the display settings showed that the display adapter listed is 'Windows Basic Display Driver'.

Locating A Driver

I launched 'Device Manager' and found 'ATI Radeon Mobility HD 4500' listed under 'Display Adapters'. When I checked its properties it says the driver is up to date and the device is enabled too. I want my 1080 resolution back.

My display suddenly seems like is in the 90s. Thanks Vishvajith. Hi, Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Community.
