I am an experienced user for video transferring Hi8/Digital8 Sony tape and burning DVDs. Fed up and returned this product due to the following: •EZ Grabber 3 was flaky. Also found out that the laptop power setting had to be long enough or it would put the laptop to sleep. Even then at times would come up with weird error message and stop.

•Power Director 12 intermittently came up with green / pink fluorescent screen (known issue as per tech). Sometimes the capture screen was black.

Power Director 12 would not go to sleep mode whilst running but EZ Grabber 3 did! •Called up technical support numerous time so suggested either laptop had issues or the device.
