Jul 29, 2015 I haven't had any trouble other than the flickering display problem described in my post. HP hasn't released any Win10 drivers for.

HP have been terrible with support for this laptop. They were mighty expensive when they came out. And were the top of the line then - you'd expect a flagship laptop would be maintained. They didn't even release proper drivers for Windows 8, let alone 8.1. My fingerprint sensor has been dead since Windows 8.

There were suggested workarounds (using newer laptop drivers) which did not work for me. HP's Support is disgraceful and very much like Apple's attitude to slightly older models!

It didn't come factory support for Win10 and you installed it and come complaining? One is to use the Support O/S that is support for that model. So let's be realistic here. Win7 is not a NEW O/S and was released in 2009 not 2015. It has drivers up to Win8 and that is it-HP is under no illusion to keep making drivers for Old hardware and O/S drivers this is not sustainable when it no longer makes money for them.
